Now into it's fifth year, it's still a bit hard to define.  Come along and find out for yourself the delights of fine food, fine movies and fun.

 Our mission is to inspire and engage people through the experience of international cinema, building cultural awareness and understanding through high quality, award winning international film while enjoying delicious fresh regional food, and good company with people who enjoy great movies in a lively environment.

Held on third Wednesday monthly from 6:40pm (except January) Eumundi World Cinema is a not to be missed social evening that more and more people are popping into their diaries.

MAY mOVIE EVENT - TRUMAN (SPAIN) 2015

Truman is a 2015 comedy-drama film directed by Cesc Gay and co-written by Gay and Tomàs Aragay. The film stars Ricardo Darín, Javier Cámara, and Dolores Fonzi.

It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and in the Official Section of the 2015 San Sebastián International Film Festival, where it was awarded the Silver Shell for Best Actor for Darín and Cámara. It won five Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor (Darín), and Best Supporting Actor (Cámara).

Julián (Ricardo Darin), an actor, receives an unexpected visit from his friend Tomás (Javier Camara), who is a professor and lives in Canada. Julián is suffering from a terminal illness and and his only companion now is Truman, a loyal dog.

The two friends, along with Truman, share four days together which involves some soul searching and tough decisions about their friendship and life.

Truman screens on Wednesday 16 May at 6:40pm for supper (movie starts at 7:05pm) at Eumundi School of Arts Hall, Cnr Memorial Drive and Pacey Street, Eumundi.
